translations from/to Romanian
The story of the Romanian language goes beyond the sea. The Black Sea. For over 2000 years, the same as the sea, the Romanian language was open to all horizons. The majority of its vocabulary flows from Latin: bine (“well”), bun (“good”), floare (“flower”). Its ancient Latin shore was heavily splashed by the waves of other languages: Slavic (Bulgarian, Serbian, Russian), Greek, Turkish or German. Nowadays Romanian has official status in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. It is one of the official languages of the European Union.
